The twilight mist mixed set is destined as background music for the twilight hour of the day or the wake of first ray of light.It’s a chill out set with a different approach musically.
The music is selected and organized in a dynamic ever changing genre and tempo changing to provide an awake and aware
listening state.From the slow electric soul of Abraham’s “The Answer” to the Massive Attack’s urban classic “Unfinished Sympathy” (remixed
by the versatile Paul Oakenfold) to the smooth, warm and soothing sound provided in Fila Brazilla
remix of “Climbing up the walls” by Radiohead. The world sound so beautiful and vibrant on the worldly sound provided by Lenine’s “Sonhei” and at a blink of a moment
the mood changes again to the hurt and self pity sang by Magnolia in Spoiled Frog (Little Me) which is relieved by the
very lively and big band sounding Mo Horizons in “Flying Away”.Skipping a few soulful joints ahead emotions are outburst in the Electronic Tango renditions of the well known and
appreciated Gotan Project’s – “Santa Maria (Del Buen Ayre).Finally we are going to reflect and recollect and mend the broken heart on the great bluesy style cover of
Portished’s Glory Box preformed by John Martyn and after all the tears have dried its time to get some hot late-night
action with Mike Patton and Jennifer Charles on Dan the Automator’s sexscapade of the never ending
shifts of power between male and Female in bed and outside of it, lets moan with them in a hot and steamy musical
bedroom experience, and after lets finish with a cigarette and a drink contemplating of the long and emotional ride of the day
over Soulsaver’s “Ask the Dust” which might just conclude the day and turn the page for the birth of a new day.
Yeah I might’ve been a little too preachy here, but that was not intended and to those that offfe’d on my perceptions of the
sounds I only have to say. Open your ears, listen, feel, and think. Music is life.
